Let’s Talk AI – EY Africa CEO Ajen Sita on the benefits of AI adoption in Africa

In this Let’s Talk AI interview, Michael Avery meets with Ajen Sita – CEO of EY Africa – to discuss the transformative impact of AI on businesses.

Sita is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.

He has worked for EY Africa for over 30 years, starting out as a trainee accountant in 1993 and quickly moving up the ranks.

Sita soon became a Manager and then a Partner at EY, and held several leadership positions during this time – including Head of Entrepreneurial Services, lead Audit Partner on Telkom, and Head of Assurance.

In 2010, Sita was named a Managing Partner and CEO of EY Africa.

Under his leadership, EY Africa has won multiple awards – including the Professional Services Firm of the Year, and ranking as a Top Employer for 10 consecutive years.

In addition to being the CEO of EY Africa, Sita sits on the EY EMEIA Board and the EY Global Emerging Markets Forum.
