Business Talk – Dr Reda Helal on Network International’s integrated payment processing platform

In this Business Talk with Michael Avery interview, Dr Reda Helal – Managing Director and Co-Head of Processing for Africa at Network International – discusses the company’s integrated payment processing platform.

Dr Helal holds a Master’s degree from York University and a Doctorate from the University of Liverpool.

He has over 22 years of experience in digital payments, strategic planning and execution, new market entries, and leadership practices in multinational payments organisations.

This experience includes working as a Retail Sales Manager at United Bank Limited and as a Director of Strategic Business for First Data Corporation.

In 2016, Dr Helal joined Network International as Chief Strategist for the Middle East, and five years later became the Chief Business Planning and Market Development Officer.

He took on his current position in 2022 and is now responsible for leading a client-focused business unit that serves financial institutions, fintechs, and payment partners.
